What a great spring we have had so far! Temperatures have been above average which is getting us all outside enjoying all that Tahoe has to offer! Friday, June 21st through Sunday, June 30th marks Adventure Sports Week in North Lake Tahoe. Truckee and Tahoe Donner 2013 1st Quarter

Truckee:        Buyers aren’t waiting any longer! The Truckee market is off to a fantastic start this year with sales volume for single family homes up 32 % as compared to Q1, 2012. Median prices increased 23% to $492,000, compared to last year’s $410,250. Truckee experienced a 31% increase in average prices, $667,666 compared to last year’s $510,883. The market has indeed changed and will continue to do so with incremental price increases as long as interest rates remain low. 2013 1st Quarter Stats

Statistics for Q1 2013 show real estate is changing over the same period in 2012.  Prices are showing upward trends with a 13% median price increase and a 6% average price increase in Tahoe Donner, which is viewed as a key market indicator for our Truckee area.  The median price for a single family home jumped over the $500,000 mark to $525,683 and the average price of $442,000 increased to $499,900.
