We hope you are finding time to enjoy all the beautiful snow that Mother Nature has brought our way just in time for Christmas. What a perfect gift for our lakes and streams and for all of us who enjoy our downtime up on the slopes and trails throughout the High Sierra.
It is indeed a magical time of the year – and this year in particular – as the Elder family stops to reflect on the past while we build a bright new future for our family and clients throughout the West. And what a year it will be. Just this past week, Elder Group Tahoe Real Estate became an equity partner with the prestigious, international real estate firm of Engel & Völkers. We are honored to present our new partnership as Engel & Völkers ǀ Elder Group Tahoe.
Although our name has changed, our professional staff that you have come to know and trust, as well as our location in our hometown community of Truckee, California, remain the same. You can read all about in the news announcement that was released to the world this past week.
INTERNATIONAL PREMIUM REAL ESTATE FIRM EXPANDS LAKE TAHOE PRESENCE THROUGH ALLIANCE WITH TOP PERFORMING BROKER
“With over 25 years of experience and exceptional in-depth market knowledge, Alison will be an integral part of expanding the scope of our premier services in the Lake Tahoe region,” said Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America. “Her talent in navigating client relationships and impressive business acumen will ideally partner with Engel & Völkers’ global network to provide the best level of real estate services for buyers and sellers in the area.”
Elder brings 13 years of success in real estate and over 27 years of leadership experience. She had previously held executive positions in sales and marketing and had a role as CEO of her healthcare administration business. Most recently, she served as principal of the Elder Group Tahoe Real Estate team, affiliated with Chase International. Prestigiously recognized as a top performing real estate advisor, she brings over 700 transactions closed with a sales volume of more than $300 million since 2009 to Engel & Völkers Truckee. In addition to being named a top real estate agent in California and Tahoe Sierra MLS, her accolades include a five-year streak as Chase International’s Realtor® of the Year and Real Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents in America for 2015 and 2016.
“Alison’s arrival to our team marks a significant milestone, and will provide the opportunity to further elevate Engel & Völkers in the Lake Tahoe real estate market,” said Dougan Jones, co-CEO of Engel & Völkers Park City. “From her extensive network to her keen industry savvy, she consistently provides innovative ideas to deliver premier services for buyers and sellers alike.”
Engel & Völkers Truckee launched its first shop in March of this year in the landmark Flying A building, a historical property in the heart of Old Town Truckee. Led by Alison Elder, the new Truckee shop, located behind the corner of Donner Pass Road and Highway 89, is slated to open in December and will grow the team to a total of 20 advisors between both shops.
“As a resident of the Tahoe area, Engel & Völkers presented the perfect opportunity to further establish Truckee’s real estate offerings on a global scale,” said Alison Elder, owner of the new Engel & Völkers Lake Tahoe shop. “As the Lake Tahoe’s notable year-round recreational activities, quality of life, proximity to major ski resorts and convenient access to Lake Tahoe continue to lure in international and national buyers alike, Engel & Völkers will provide the comprehensive resources and network to best serve our clientele.”
With the opening of shops in Aspen, Vail, Park City, Atlanta, Hilton Head, Sun Valley, Minneapolis and Charlotte and in Canada, Victoria, Calgary, Montreal, Vancouver Island, Toronto and York, Engel & Völkers continues to strengthen its presence in the premium real estate market across North America. Additionally, Engel & Völkers continues to expand throughout the United States with planned openings in several new markets.
