Mikaela Shiffrin wins both giant slalom and slalom in the 2017 FIS World Cup held at Squaw Valley! Over 20,000 fans watched the US skier notch her 30th career World Cup win in GS, just 7 hundredths of a second off second place winner, Federica Brignone of Italy.

Easter Sunday Activities
An Easter Eggstravaganza will be taking place at local resorts on Sunday, April 19th. Northstar is among the many resorts that will be offering fun activities for the whole family. Enjoy the 5,000+ Easter Egg Dash, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and roam around the lovely village while you listen to live music and watch the Jelly Bean contest.
Squaw Valley – Alpine Meadows will be celebrating Easter Sunday in true winter fashion! Take the aerial tram ride up to High Camp for a Sunrise Service with a continental breakfast and enjoy the Easter Egg Hunt at either Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows. Adventure out to the long-standing Beacon & Eggs event to learn the basics of avalanche awareness while searching for Easter Eggs filled with lucky prizes!
