Wow, how time flies! Sixty years ago, the world tuned in to the Olympic Winter Games right here at Squaw Valley. It was a legendary time when top athletes in the world, and visitors around the globe, benchmarked the north shore of Lake Tahoe as one of the finest ski destinations in the world.
And 60 years later, this March 19-22, you have the opportunity to see some of the finest top men and women freestyle mogul skiers in the nation complete on some of the same Olympic runs in the US Freestyle Moguls Championships at Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows.
Once you have captured those memories, stay close by to enjoy the return of the annual WinterWonderGrass Festival on March 26 – 29 at the Village at Squaw Valley.
But wait, there’s always more in store in Truckee-Tahoe for your spring fling to the High Sierra. For more ideas on what to do and where to go, feel free to stop by and see us at Elder Group Real Estate in Truckee, CA.
